     As a wedding vocalist, I sing for hire in wedding ceremonies in the Chicago area. My specialties are classical, secular, and contemporary romantic music suitable for wedding ceremonies and receptions. My vocal repertoire draws from classical, jazz, and musical theatre, as well as a number of contemporary favorites popular among couples, brides and families.
      From my experience as a professional singer and entertainer, I know how difficult it can be to navigate through the sea of wedding musicians to find the special performer who can help to set the mood and ambiance of your wedding. Wedding Song Selection

      Music can become an integral part of your marriage - both during the wedding ceremony and at the reception. The key is to select music that best fits the occasion, the location and, most importantly, the love and desire of the Bride and Groom. Any song selection is appropriate if it means something special to the couple.

Placement

     There are many excellent places for musical interludes. For Christian weddings, some music placement ideas are:

• During the lighting of the unity candle,
• Between events, such as the vows and the ring exchange or between the mothers sitting and the processional.

      Instrumental music is often effective for the processional and recessional. Sometimes brides prefer to walk down the aisle or have the bridesmaids enter to special vocal music, like the beautiful duet from Lakme by Delibes.

Musicians

     I work with an excellent group of musicians- pianists, string players, flutists, and other vocalists. I can help clients put together the perfect combination of vocal and instrumental music to suite the wedding couple's taste and the atmosphere of the ceremony.
